Join Carleton Connects for Professor Dave Musicant’s presentation “Getting to the Source: Where does Wikipedia Get Its Information From?”  About the Speaker Dave Musicant is a Professor of Computer Science at Carleton College.  Joining Carleton in 2000, Musicant’s research focuses on solving machine learning and data mining problems as well as collaborative human/computing systems.  He is currently working on understanding the dynamics of people working with online collaborative communities such as Wikipedia.  At Carleton, he teaches Introduction to Computer Science, Data Structures, Programming Languages, Artificial Intelligence, Database Systems, and Data Mining.
