'74 SHAC Zoom 2.13.24

Learn more about 1974’s commitment to supporting Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) over Zoom with SHAC director Marit Lysne. Register now for a conversation at 1:00 pm Central on Tuesday, February 13 using the button below. Fifty years ago, when we came down with mono, had a bad cold or flu, or slipped on the ice on the Bald Spot, we navigated the narrow stairs of Sayles Hill to a small suite of minimally staffed rooms (remember Doc Hanson?). Student Health moved “temporarily” into its current location in the basement of Davis Hall more than 30 years ago. At our 50th, we have the opportunity to help create a heath facility specifically designed to meeting the physical and mental health needs of today’s student body. The impact of our 50th Reunion gift will extend beyond bricks and mortar to health and wellness services and programs to enhance the lives of Carls for generations to come. You can learn more about the project on our 1974 Class Website.
