Freedom Then, Freedom Now: Black History and Protest Art exhibit

Closing out this year's Black History Month, history students (HIST 126, “African American History II: 1865 until Today,”) synthesized their knowledge of African American history and the ongoing Black Freedom Movement. In cooperation with the Department of Art and Art History, students created their own text-based letterpress works in reference to Amos Paul Kennedy, Jr.’s Rosa Parks series.
