Carleton Virtual Breakfast Club: Bringing the Outdoors to Classrooms Across the Country with Lindsay Brandt ’17

Join Lindsay Brandt ’17 for a behind the scenes look at Glacier National Park’s distance learning programs. Lindsay will discuss why she loves distance learning, how interactive virtual experiences with parks like Glacier can help connect kids to the outdoors wherever they are, and how her experiences at Carleton have shaped her approach to rangering. You’ll even get a peek at a “virtual hike” that Lindsay takes young elementary school students on as part of the “Habitat Adventure” program! Lindsay is an education ranger at Glacier National Park in Montana. She coordinates school field trips, classroom visits, and distance learning programs that connect thousands of students with Glacier National Park every year.
