As generative AI tools are both rapidly changing and being increasingly incorporated into everything from political operations to everyday data-driven tasks, building critical AI literacy can feel like an impossible project. How do we effectively prepare our students to navigate an information landscape in which such technology is now fundamentally integrated? In this talk, I'll share strategies and concrete examples of how I approach this in the classroom, focusing on navigating the impact of generative AI on textual, visual, and procedural culture and creativity.
