Carleton offers a variety of media management options. This video provides a quick overview of four tools supported by PEPS and Academic Technology. Panopto, Imagen, Dropbox, and Google Drive. Whichever you choose, using a smart and consistent naming convention for your files will help you organize and manage your files for years to come. Both Google Drive and Dropbox are feature rich functional storage options. Neither are quite as good for hosting or managing media files for use on Moodle course pages or embedding that media on websites. That’s where Panopto and Imagen come in.
